Michael Hintze has made a $1 million donation to the University of Sydney’s Charles Perkins Centre.
Announcing the donation, the University of Sydney said:
Long-time University of Sydney supporter, Mr Michael Hintze has also newly pledged $1 million to launch a flagship research and development incubator with the Charles Perkins Centre to explore commercially viable applications for improving individual and population health.
The Charles Perkins Centre’s mission is to ease the burden of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, which have reduced the quality of life in Australia and have become global epidemics. It aims to translate the work of the University of Sydney into real-world solutions.
