Financial Standard: "Michael Hintze to join Financial Systems Inquiry"

Australian Treasurer Joe Hockey has appointed CQS founder Sir Michael Hintze to serve on a four-person International Advisory Panel to support the Financial Systems Inquiry (FSI). The FSI is focused on laying out a blueprint for Australia’s financial system over the next decade:

The International Advisory Panel will provide an expert perspective to the FSI on aspects of the Terms of Reference including technological change, Australia's global competitiveness and offshore regulatory frameworks...

Prior to founding CQS, Hintze held senior roles at CSFB and Goldman Sachs. He was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his support to the arts, health and education, and awarded a knighthood for philanthropic services to the arts in the United Kingdom.
